We are starting our unit on decimals. We will be learning about the tenths and hundredths places. We will also be ordering decimals and comparing decimals.  We will also be having our TEST on FRIDAY.  Please make sure your child completes homework assignments in a timely manner.

We will continue our unit on fractions this week.  On Wednesday, we will be having a test on Chapter 23.  The test will cover parts of fractions, comparing fractions and equivalent fractions.  They will be allowed to use fraction strips to help as a visual.  All homework is labeled for each night of the week.  This gives you a preview of what we will be doing each day.   HOMEWORK IS DUE EACH DAY!!!!!  10 points is taken off for late work.  Homework that is not handed in is counted as a zero.  Please ensure your child does his/her homework and returns it each day.

Your child will receive a zero for homework assignments not returned on time. The purpose of homework is for your child to practice what he learned that day. This also allows me the opportunity to see what they might need more help with the next day.
